Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Columbus, GA
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care:
- Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Participate in care conferences and contribute insights to improve patient outcomes.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
- Document all nursing care activities and interventions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare documentation standards and protocols.
- Education and Support:
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and aftercare instructions.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
- Quality Assurance:
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
- Follow established protocols and guidelines to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Adherence to Regulations:
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, including maintaining licensure and certifications.
- Stay informed about updates in nursing practices and regulations.
- Current LPN license in the state of Georgia.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- CPR certification.
- Current TB test.
- Strong clinical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Must pass criminal background check.
- Must have reliable transportation.
